Jimmy was another of the Edgeley lads who signed after scoring against County for the Stockport Lge in a 1903 friendly. His first league goal came at Manchester United, and he was regarded as the speediest player in County's ranks. In May 1907 Jimmy left for Tottenham Hotspur. After his career he worked as a publican in Stockport. SCAN 83
